Colortone water based Acrylic Varnish is a product that protects the surface against dust and dirt-like effects. Despite its milky white appearance, it forms a transparent, waterproof and water resistant film. Colortone can blend perfectly with acrylic paints. Add 5 gr (about 3 teaspoons) of powder into 1 liter of warm water.Water should be continuously stirred while the medium is slowly added. A minimum stirring time of 20 minutes is required. The mixture should be refined by draining from a piece of thin cheesecloth and poured into the marbling tray very slowly to pre- vent formation of foams. Leave the mixture to rest for 24 hours before using in marbling applications.
